The recycling centre for Kirkbampton is at the rear of the village hall. There is provision for cans, bottles and plastic recycling which is collected on a regular basis by Allerdale Borough Council. Please note that the dumping of other waste in this area is an offence under the flytipping regulations and anyone caught doing so will be treated accordingly. If you see incidents of flytipping, not only on the recycling site but anywhere within Allerdale you can report it from HERE

Allerdale Borough Council collects general household rubbish on a weekly basis generally on a Tuesday although there are variations for Christmas and Bank Holidays. Recycling items (Garden Waste and Paper) are collected on alternate weeks also generally on a Tuesday.
