BROADBAND CHAMPION
Kirkbampton Parish Council is currently looking for a volunteer to fill the role
of ‘Broadband Champion’ for the area. At the end of 2010, the Government committed
itself to the roll-
The village and parish of Kirkbampton lies on the Solway Plain approximately 6 miles West of the border city of Carlisle with it's historical cathedral and castle. It encompasses the villages/hamlets of Kirkbampton, Little Bampton, Oughterby, Studholme, Flatt and Ploughlands.
This web site is for the benefit of both residents and visitors, who seek to enjoy
the advantages of being part of our community. We hope it will also be informative
and interesting to existing and new residents and visitors and enable them to take
full advantage of what the area has to offer.

Kirkbampton Village Hall
RACE NIGHT was well attended with over 70 guests. Many thanks to new committee members Ian & Sue who organised the event.
£356 was raised and this will be used to purchase a instant hot water boiler for the kitchen. Special thanks to Mr Dodd who kindly agreed to plumb in the boiler free of charge.
