Welcome to Kirkbampton & District News
The village and parish of Kirkbampton lies on the Solway Plain approximately 6 miles West of the border city of Carlisle with it's historical cathedral and castle. This web site is for the benefit of both residents and visitors, who seek to enjoy the advantages of being part of our community. We hope it will also be informative and interesting to existing and new residents and visitors and enable them to take full advantage of what the area has to offer.

The only reason for this is that most of the organisations we deal with, Allerdale, Police , County Council etc use this medium for posting information.
